NEWFOCAS Foster Carers celebrate Christmas
All NEWFOCAS carers receive respite assistance, annual holidays, regular supervision, and thorough in-house and external training and support towards achieving a minimum qualification of NVQ3 in Care. This exceptional level of training and support will enable you to manage difficult behaviours and situations whilst caring for challenging youngsters. Many of our carers have also undertaken the SACCS Recovery training, which is a foundation for the Mary Walsh Institute Therapeutic Care Degree run by Glyndwr University.
Subsistence as recommended by the Fostering Network, plus a significant enhancement
£60 per day
At least £10 per hour
Please note: All carers are responsible for working on a self-employed basis.
