Andrea was presented with a bouquet of flowers to wish her luck on her forthcoming Social Work Course placement. We will miss Andrea in the Office where she coordinates all the referrals from Local Authorities looking for a Foster Placement.

Andrea helps implement our strict matching process which checks if any of our therapeutic placements can meet the child's specific individual needs so that  any child placed with us is placed in the most suitable place possible for the child and also that the required support is in put place for both the child and the carers.

The staff team will miss Andrea and the sense of fun she brings to the office and are convinced that her understanding of  the effects of trauma will be very useful to the Drugs & Alcohol Team where she will be based for the next six months. We wish Andrea all the best for her placement and look forward to her return in the summer.

For the duration of Andrea's placement Verity Morris, who is herself coming to the end of her Social Work course, will cover the role of Referrals Coordinator to ensure that NEWFoCaS continue to provide Trauma Informed placements offering Therapeutic solutions.
