NEWFOCAS have a 24/7 support service of experienced Social workers to offer carers support during a crisis. We know all of our carers and their placements on a very individual basis and carers are never left to deal with a crisis situation alone or unsupported.

NEWFOCAS remains small, to retain and develop a trusting relationship with our carers and in turn, support and encourage the foster children, individually, to achieve their best potential. We focus on stabilising foster children within a family and giving a foster child long term foster parents that will help the foster child feel secure and attached to the family that they are matched and chosen for.

You could be one of our foster carers and help a foster child settle in their long term family. The support we provide to help you and the child, achieve to fullest potential is unique. NEWFOCAS are a specialist Trauma Informed agency that has staff that our highly trained to support you and the foster child through their development. As a NEWFOCAS foster carer you will receive weekly support from a supervising social worker or one of the close knit team around each child. They will have their own therapeutic social worker to help them develop and achieve.

I do admire what you have created in and through NEWFOCAS for so many people in one way or another and for the children and young people NEWFOCAS supports. It is a privilege to be a part of the amazing service you have created for looked after children and the foster carers and for the youngsters who have come along to be social workers and admin in NEWFOCAS.
Thanks for all your support over the years V. I am going to miss not working with NEWFOCAS but I know if I need an IFA in the future I certainly will be asking commissioning to see if you guys are available first and if NEWFOCAS could just clone K & L that would be great 
More than twenty years experience and we still have a passion for excellence and responsive foster care services.
Our foster carers also receive excellent training to help them learn how to practically help children and young people in their care; and regular support meetings where you can meet the other carers in the NEWFOCAS team, for general support and get updates from the NEWFOCAS Social work team. Our carers are highly valued and respected part of the team.
Unlike larger Fostering Agencies, we are small enough to know all our carers and their placements on a very individual basis and carers are never left to deal with a crisis situation alone or unsupported.
