REVERSING THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF TRAUMA ON SOCIETY & SOCIAL JUSTICE
Recognising, responding and recovering from trauma in the developing brain, this full day conference will provide essential understanding of childhood trauma on the child’s lifespan and overall impacts upon the health of society.
NEWFOCAS is a Centre of Excellence for the management and treatment of Childhood Trauma.
CREPT is Chester University’s Social and Political Science department’s Centre for Research and Education in Psychological Trauma.
Together they will host a full day conference which brings together specialists and experts in the field of trauma
who will share their collective knowledge and expertise about how the impact of unrecognised or untreated childhood trauma will disadvantage victims.
Through 3 keynote speakers, 4 interactive workshops and a dynamic chair, participants will be assisted to understand and cascade that learning, back into their workplace and organisation.
